Anime?

There were quite a few anime titles released in the US, as well as Japan. Having a thread would allow us to show off our collections as well as point others to places where more can be found.

There are anime topics (which is what is normally meant by 'threads', I think) in the discussion areas — I should know, since I participate heavily in them! If you don't like the ones that are already there, though, feel free to start your own.

It had to be famous, historical, known from most people.

Not a bad choice, to be sure (although Lum would probably have done as well). He's on the cover of the Anime Encyclopedia, after all.

But if Lum was the icon, it would cause problems for little kids that want to check out the forums (Imagine what the parents would think.)
